What it's all about

Rooted is an annual youth conference seeking to support the work of local churches. We do this by teaching the great news of Jesus Christ and applying that truth to the issues of our culture.

Our hope is that in addition to regular youth work this conference might help to root young people in their faith in Christ and enable them to grow up walking with Him.

More About Rooted

Alongside the main teaching sessions we’ll be running seminars that will look to address some of the big issues that face young people today.

This conference is a great chance to get to know other people, whether you’re a part of a big or small youth group, this is the place to meet and to get know other Christians your age.

You’ll also have lots to do during the breaks, including inflatables, a board games café, bookstalls, and loads of food to enjoy.

The main sessions will also feature sung worship that will be led by EMU music.

Andy Robinson

Andy Robinson will be speaking in our main sessions addressing a variety of issues of sex and sexuality in our culture.

Andy has been the Pastor of Woodstock Road Baptist Church near Oxford for over 14 years, and is also leading the recently planted Grace Church Kidlington.

Unfortunately our previously advertised speaker, Sam Allberry, has had to pull out. We are very grateful to Andy for stepping in.
